Description: 4. S.l.s.d. ( Antwerpen - Brussel - Gent ? 1593). in-4°, (4)nn pp (last page blank), loose as issued, small perforation hole in the middle. Printed copy of an undated letter from the governor of the Low Countries (Peter Ernst von Mansfeld ?), letter signed VB (?). In this letter the governor asks for an acceptance of new taxes to finance the war against the rebels. The Three Estates can send their response to Iaques Bogaert (Jacob Bogaert , voorzitter van de Raad van Vlaanderen) or Conraed Grobendoncq. Bogaert became president in 1589 and died in 1598. This printed document ends with a manuscript note in ink in a contemporary hand whcih reads ; '' Le proposition endessous imprimée et collationé et trouvé concorde avec l'originale par moi souscrit J. Bai?rac, 1593 ''. .
