Bound in contemporary half leather, marbled boards, leather label with gilt lettering on front cover. Leather of binding severely worn but binding technically sound. One plate with a marginal tear, still a good copy. Rare early study on mediaeval architecture in the Netherlands by Frans Nicolaas Marius Eyck van Zuylichem (1806 - 1876). Although the second title was published 5 years after the first, the plate numbering indicates that both works belong together. .
