Large armorial 18th-century engraved ex-libris tipped in on the 2 paste downs (Dr. de St. Maurice). Large circular blue rubberstamp on title ((ex-library Coutance - Normandy Seminary). Cordier Japonica n° 385. Third French edition of this compilation by Montanus. The first edition , from 1680, was in folio and contained many more illustrations. The first in-8° edition was from 1686. Text is in French. Livre complet en langue française. Reliure un peu usée, avec manque de la coiffe supérieure, et qq. dégats au plats, mais reliure encore solide. Exemplaire de bibliothèque avec un cachet circulaire sur la page de titre. .
