Bound in contemporary full vellum, inner joints cracked, some slight foxing and soiling but still a good copy. Rare curious work on the funeral rites, written by a Roman roman catholic canon. It deals with the lay out and the cloths of the body, embalming, bell ringing, use of incense, chant and music, hearse , period of mourning and the function of the caretaker...
