(ca. 1901), large in-folio, 53,5 x 43 cm, (4) nn pp (title + list of plates) + 30 black/white plates, some double page, bound in contemporary red half morocco (binding worn, upper spine damaged, but binding technically sound). Rare album with 30 shopfront designs in a pure '' Art Nouveau '' style. On the title page the publisher Thézard mentions that he was awarded a gold medal at the Paris 1900 World Exhibition. The plates depict shopfronts printed in black/white on strong boardlike paper. Included in the plate numbering are groundfloor designs printed on double pages which also give details of the shopfronts shown. .
