All the other volumes are in in-8°. In all the set consists of 57 physical issues with over 10,000 pages of text and illustrations (there being some double or triple volumes). Up till 1954 this yearly volumes contained allmost exclusively information of an administrative nature on the workings of the museum. From 1954 onwards the yearbook contains articles, by specialists in the field, on the fine arts in the Low Countries, Belgium and the Netherlands. Dutch, English, German and French are used. Some articles, sometimes of up to 150 pages have a monographical nature and deal with aspects of the life and art of artists from the Low Countries. Separate yearbooks can be quoted for upon request.
