Description: .: London, Thomas Kelly, 1834, in-4°, (iv) + 163 + (1) pp + 101 engraved plates ( some folding ), glossary, quarter leather on marbled boards with matching endpapers, gilt decorated spine (date on spine '1814' is an error), handwritten ex-libris on flyleaf and small unobtrusive library stamp on title page. A hardly noticeable waterstain in the lower margin of some plates, still a fine/good copy. The author, 1765-1844, was a Scottish architect and mathematician.
