Description: .: Antverpiae, (Antwerpen), Ex Architypographia Plantiniana , 1765, in-folio, 36 x 22.5 cm, title with engraved vignette + (64) nn pp + 624 pp + ccxxviii pp + (4)(index) + 8 pp + (10)(several blank) + with 7 full page copper engraved plates, with large wood engraved printer's mark at the end, entirely printed in red and black, with numerous woodcut ornamental initials. Bound at the end; Missa propriae Sanctorum et Aliarum festivitatum ordinis Carmelitarum, pro Fratibus Discalceatis...., s.l.s.d. (approbatio 1605) . Binding; contemporary full red morocco, both sides with identical gilt tooling consisting of a twofold triple fillet with flower ornaments at the corners of the inner fillets, fine raised gilt spine with green leather title label, all edges gilt, marbled endpapers. The binding in the very best French red morocco leather is very well preserved with only tiny traces of use and discoloring. .
