Fierlants et Cie., 1868, in-4°, 30 x 21 cm, title page + 12 pp + 63 original photographs, with index. 50 of the photographs are accompanied by a text-leaf with explanation. Modern red half leather binding. The first photograph is a portrait of the painter, the last an outdoor view of his studio, the other ones depict paintings. A normal copy would have 50 photographs (according to the index) but more copies with 62 are known. The photographs are mounted on rather stiff board which have the photographer's oval blindstamp in the margin.Some light foxing and some slight marginal browning of the boards. In all still a fine/good copy in a handsome binding. .
