Last quires a bit shaved at the top maiming some headwords. Title with wood engraved portrait vignette, inkstain on title where a name is made illegible. The book, about the love for God, is dedicated by the translator to the archbishop of Trier and by the author to Anna de Cruce of the order of St Clara (Ulyssiponae, 1574).
