The material is taken from five booklets which Compressed Air Magazine published over the construction period to give its readers a progressive account of the work. Also includes details of the railroad system, the gravel-treating and concrete-mixing plants, the cofferdams, the aerial cableways, the penstocks and how the concrete was poured and cooled. Very well illustrated. Fine.
