Green cloth, with red leather spine, gilt titling. The front pastedown has the following inscription - ''Adelaide Currey given to her by Her R H the Duchess of Gloucester September 1835''. There is also the name Adelaide to the verso of the frontispiece. Some wear, rubbing to covers, spine, age toning to pages. Princess Mary, Duchess of Gloucester and Edinburgh (25 April 1776 - 30 April 1857) was the eleventh child and fourth daughter of King George III and his consort Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz. An interesting item. [800]. Very Good.
