WITH an A-4 sized [4]pp. dutch language introduction and rather detailed explanation to Sengai's life and work by L.J.F. Wijsenbeek and Daisetz T. Suzuki, loosely inserted. Detailed english language historic survey and exhibition kept at the The Hague Municipal Museum, about the Japanese Zen Master, Calligrapher, Poet and draugtsman Sengai Gibon a japanese monk of the Rinzai school (one of three mains schools of Zen Buddhism in Japan. He was know for his controversial teachings and writings, as well as for his lighthearted Sumi-e paintings. Very fine copy, WITH THE LOOSELY INSERTED DUTCH LANGUAGE ANNEXE.
