With 10 captioned monochrome facsim. plates printed on thin limp boards, rather extensive historic commentary on versos of plates. A dutch language glorification of famous historic heroistic deeds by the dutch through the ages with rather extensive historic information: Navy battles, colonial expansion, Waterloo, etc. An interesting example of dutch nationalism which might have been published by the dutch nazi party in progress, 1935. Very fine copy in its original portfolio. Curious. (some minimal chafing to corners of portfolio).
