Single quire as ti.-p. with publ. precace at recte of second leave (verso blank). Portfolio with together 29 folio helio type black/white plates of which one in colour featuring a javanese statue, dutch language captions including provenance printed on tissue guards. NOT called-for in Royal Dutch Library, KB. Portfolio with captioned helio type plates, with publisher's preface, illustrating holdings of the Haarlem Museum of Decorative and Applied Arts, on behalf of dutch artists and designers. Plates feature casts from high-, and bas-reliefs of works of art from antique civilizations, Greece, Assyria and Rome, Byzantium; Renaissance pieces from Flanders, Italy, Holland and Germany; including a coloured plate featuring a Javanese Statue from Hundu Era, a plate with 5 illustrations of antique Keris (including an antique blade), and a sculpture from japanese origin. Good copy. (lower outer part of front hinge split, but very skilfully restored, some foxing to lower left part of ti.-p.).
