According to his preface author states that this grammar popular Malay is an excerpt of his pre-war Grammar. Published on behalf of dutch troops leaving for Indonesia during the dutch-indonesian armed dispute 1945-1950. Good copy. (small tear at foot of outer front joint skilfully restored).
