Folio, original clothbacked marbled boards. 69pp. with many tailor cutter's fundamental patterns with subject-headings printed in bold black type; contined by 13 unnumbered LL. with many proficient cutter's patterns, drawn in original pencil by an advanced student in a skilled hand with occasional technical remarks and 7 coloured original tipped-in paper-cuttings featuring children's and ladies' ready-made clothing, continued by student's private notes and remarks on 7 unnumbered LL. (14 pp. of text) with as subject-matter pattern-drawing and cutting, tha art of sizing, etc. All in Ms. in ink in a very legible and neat long hand. Private dutch language excercise-book partly in manuscript with coloured illustrations pasted-in by an advanced [female] student tailor's cutter which is preceded by a number of printed tailor cutter's fundamental patterns to be applied to ladies'- and children's fashionable ready-made clothing. The printed part has been compiled and published by the board of a Rotterdam Vocational Fashion School, founded in 1924. Very good copy. Scarce.
