She and the Friends were allowed to visit prisoners, she ends her story in August 1939 when she returned to England. Bombs were falling outside as she was writing it. 118 pages, with an introduction by Henry W. Nevinson. 18.25cm. x 12.25cm. Contents very good except previous owner's name. Cover is very good.
