Very good clean pages housed in a fold over protective paper within hard bound navy blue cloth covers with gilt lettering to the front board. ------- The only short story by Winston Churchill to be published, which featured in the 1899 Harmsworth Magazine. Assumed to have been written in March 1898 since Churchill sent it to General Ian Hamilton in late March or early April of that year with the following note "The story I send you as it may amuse you for an hour on the voyage". The story and illustrations cover thre of the sides with a full page illustration by Charles Robinson, around a verse titled "In praise of Baby" on the other. --- Cohen.
