A neat previous owner name and address, dated December 1951, on the front blank free endpaper, otherwise a very good clean copy in publisher dark blue cloth with gilt lettering to the spine. Some of the gilt letters a bit dulled but generally this is a very good copy in the original dustwrapper. Slight chipping to top of wrapper spine and one small closed tear, about an inch and a half, without any loss, to the front panel. Overall a well presented volume containing 58 speeches covering a wide range of topics both domestic and foreign, delivered between January 1949 and December 1950. Print run limited to 8,200 of which only 6,200 were available for sale in England.
