Description: Rodwell and Martin. London. 1820. FIRST EDITION. PROOF PLATES. 4to. (14.5 x 10.6 inches). Complete series of 8 enravings, each with a plain tissue guard, in the original printed wraps. The hinge of the wraps has split all along the spine an there is some chipping and a few tears to the edges. The plates are spotted to the margins but the images themselves, and the paper around them, are clean and fresh. A rare item, with only one copy listed on Worldcat, that being in the National Art Library at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. --- OCLC# 1008509280.
