A bright and clean copy finely bound by Bayntun (Riviere) Bookbinders of Bath, England. Lovely full blue calf, the spine with five raised bands, each decorated with a floral gilt roll. Compartments fully decorated and double ruled in gilt, including Mowgli, Elephant, Tiger and Wolf heads. Red and brown labels, ruled and lettered in gilt. Double gilt ruled border on boards with gilt stamped Wolf head to the centre of the front board panel. Gilt inner dentelles and decorative roll to board edges. Marbled endpapers. All edges gilt. Some rubbing to the extremities but overall a very attractive copy of this classic book.
