The only one dated belonged to Edith Lane, Stow on the Wold, and is dated Jan. 21st 1885, the other two have owner names, John F Sutton of Selby College Birmingham and Hugh Williams. A mixture of lessons, teacher instruction, school management, and a few mss hymns by Edith and George Lane in 3 text books measuring between 9 and 8.2 x 7.3 and 6.5 inches. An interesting insight into British education of the past.
