(6.5 x 4.3 inches). xx, 396pp. Illustrated with 2 full page mono plates; portrait frontis and the Mourning Woman. A fine clean copy in a fine leather craft binding of full dark brown morocco. Spine with five raised bands. Compartments ruled and lettered in gilt. Four mid brown leather onlay boxes with straps across the spine connecting to opposite panels. Two fawn leather square onlays, one to each board, all within decorative gilt ruled design. Tan paper endpapers. Leather turn-ins with double gilt ruled lines. All edges gilt The binding isn't signed but is very attractive and certainly the work of a skilled bookbinder. ---- Contents include - preface, index to poems, and an index to the first lines. This edition was originally published in 1925 and contains, with a few exeptions, just the works written while Wordsworth lived at Grasmere.
