Taunt. second revised edition published in 1873, title states it has EIGHTY photos, but I have collated it and there are only 79 but there seem to be none missing ( ie no places indicated to binder to paste one of the tipped on photos, where there is one missing), landscape format 250 x 165mm, original green cloth with blind embossed design and gilt titled upper board, some rubbing to edges and corners with the boards showing through the worn away cloth in places, plain spine heavily rubbed with loss to the cloth at the spine ends, internally a clean copy with some offset browing to the endpapers, one tiny wormhole to upper board near spine, minor worm to the top margin of the last quarter of the text block, at most this is only about 3 small pin holes, the lower (i.e. rear) board and paste down have more wormholes, but still only about a dozen, rear fep and last few pages (adverts) have historic watermark to the bottom corner, a good copy with no major faults excepting the cover wear and the minor worming, 24 pages of maps with small sepia photographs pasted on ( as published) and vii +77 pp of text including local advertisers section at rear, plus the advertisng on the endpapers, the second leaf is blank (on both sides) and with a copperplate ink inscription "E Buckland, 1872" on the recto, Lithographed sectional maps of the Thames, with photographic insets (mounted), Cohen, B.
