(500 gram rate) book and dust jacket would be VG but the dust jacket has been trimmed to the vertical edges of the fold in flaps and affixed under a plastic sleeve with blue plastic tape that has bled onto the dust jacket edge and the paste down with small patches on to the boards, also the was once an issuing slip to fep which has been removed leaving small strip of residue to top of the fep, and two (only) rubber stamp numbers to the edge of the fep, two leaves creased from dog ears, seems to have been in a private library but virtually no library markings, 176pp, closed edges a little soiled from reading wear, story of a travelling 'vagabond' who leaves Britain for Australia as a post war migrant, Books of the Month prize winner. Good/Good.
