Cloth, 4to - over 9? - 12" tall. limp cloth boards worn and titling dulled, creased vertically to both covers, endpapers browned, fep has inscriptions including one from F/O Angus Moorcroft Millar, RNZAF NZ428249, Air Bomber, a member of RNZAF 75 Squadron inscribed while stationed in Mepal, the binding is pulling away from the text block, still holds on the tapes, and the pages are attached by the mull and sewing, lx 73pp includes double page fold out schematic diagrams of the airframes etc, well illutsrated with b&w photos, lx pages are period industry adverts, book is a good tidy reading copy but the binding needs strengthening, After the 17/09/1944 attack against Boulogne, Moorcroft Millar was injured when Lancaster Mk.III PB430 AA-P crashed during a forced landing at Hawkinge. Good/No Jacket.
