Publisher's illustrated cloth in full red glazed calico, spine decorated at the top and bottom with gilt fillets and motifs with a gilt title, boards framed with black fillets and arabesques, the first with a large golden illustration in the centre, original blue endpapers, all edges gilt. The upper spine end very slightly lifting, top joint of the upper board a little open, minor. Very fresh copy without any foxing whatsoever.
