Description: Thos. Cooke 1952. 355mm wide x 230mm high, single fold flyer. A little spotted, tanned, but no tears or other marks. VG condition. (this is the nicer of our two copies, this is slightly less spotted). "Arranged in collaboration with Mr Ernest Fleischmann, the South African conductor and music critic, and the South African branch of the International Society for Contemporary Music". Thomas Cooke offered an extensive tour departing Cape Town 5th December 1952 by the "Pretoria Castle" and returning there on 5th February by the "Stirling Castle. Venues included Paris, Milan (La Scala Opera House), Rome, Venice, Vienna, Munich, Zurich, Hamburg, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, & London. Operas and concerts were visited at every stop.
