New unread copy. In October 1968, two snakes were sent to the author for identification as found at Forbes Reef, Swaziland. A third snake of the same kind , originally collected by at Havelock, Swaziland, in January 1968, was sent to the Transvaal Museum, who then loaned it for study. This paper discusses the differences between these new specimens and the genera Lamprophis and Boaedon, assigning it to the former.
