ISBN: 9780854946433 Unumbered item of edition of 200 numbered copies. Henry Tracey served on HMS Melville (Assistant Surgeon) and arrived at the Cape on March 7th 1838. He remained in Cape Town while the ship went on a cruise to St Helena from August to November, and he finally left the Cape on the ship on 6th December of the same year. The sketches are believed to be by the author, although not signed.
