Description: Brecknock: Published and Sold by Blissett, Davies & Co., 1909-30 Glanusk Ed. 4 vols. bound in 2. 4to. Plan, 60 plates, ills., double page map. Light browning, sl. wrinkling to first two leaves of vol. 3., bound in red remainder cloth, light fading, spines sl. bumped. ¶ Theophilus Jones (1759-1812). The above still continues to be the standard work on the county; comprehensive and scholarly, despite some bias, it is the most noteworthy of the Welsh county histories.
