Hardback , no dustjacket. ¶ Morton's first published book which takes the form of a series of sketches of London life. They had originally appeared in the Daily Express. Henry Vollam Morton [ 1892 - 1979 ] journalist and pioneering travel writer. He first achieved fame in 1923 when he covered the opening of the tomb of Tutankhamun by Howard Carter.
