Hardback , no dustjacket. ¶ The first London printing ( there had been a Dublin printing in 1768 ) of Buller's influential work on all legal actions tried before judges of the King's Bench Division - Nisi Prius. This work is based upon an annonymous one of 1767 which had the same title, which was infact by his uncle, Henry Bathurst. Buller edited & may have been responsible for much of the arrangement and content of the 1767 work. ESTC T101058. Sir Francis Buller, 1st Baronet [ 1746 - 1800 ] English judge, called to the Bar in 1772, rising rapidly on 6 May 1778 aged just 32, he became a puisne judge of the King's Bench.
