Half vellum over cloth, VG. 3 volumes, 1080+[62]pp, 1081-2026+[35]pp, 2027-3150+[52]pp, indices to each volume, foxed & with a ecclesiastical smell to both volumes, cloth rubbed and faded with the vellum yellowed & with a few small nicks to the green morocco lettering pieces, a nice set, Ex Library [ St Augustine's Monastery, Ramsgate ] with their bookplates to the pastedowns & ink stamp to the title & occasionally to the text margins, printed in double column. The spine labels refer to these volumes as being volume 13, 14 & 15 of a larger incomplete collection of Papal Bulls. The half title refers to the books as being part of the works of Pope Benedict XIV. Hardback , no dustjacket. ¶ The Papal Bulls, part of a larger collection but complete in themselves, issued under the Papacy of Pope Pius VI, who was Pope 1775 - 1799.
