Disbound , no dustjacket. ¶ Hills Piracy of a sermon upon Luke II v 32. Francis Hare [ 1671 - 1740 ] was a Fellow at Christ Church, Cambridge at the time the sermon was delivered. In 1708 he graduated as a Doctor of Divinity. He was, through connections made at Cambridge to become chaplain-general to Marlborough's army in 1704 and eventually the Bishop of Chichester. This Hills Piracy of one of his sermons is among the earliest of his published works.
