Hardback , no dustjacket. ¶ Collected poetical works of Kirke White [1785 - 1806 ] who was able, although unwell to attend Cambridge thanks to the generosity of friends. The strain of work was too much & he died a year after entering St John College. His career was helped by Southey who thought him an able poet. Grahame [1765 - 1811] Scottish poet, whos verse have a philanthropic vein & carry description sof the Scotish landscape.
