Description: London, Chapman and Hall, 1844. 8vo. original full calf, gilt decorated raised bands to spine, morocco label, boards ruled and tooled gilt, marbled fore-edges and endpapers, inner dentelles gilt. In very good condition. Spine edges and corners just a little rubbed. Odd small scrape to leather but generally very good. Neat inscription to front matter "C. G. A. Mayhew from his affecte' friend C. B. Bruse. on his leaving Eton. Easter 1866. Condensed version of Kohl's original German work (A Hundred Days in Austria..) in five volumes.
