Yellow chalk endpapers, [ii]+776pp. double columns. Bible in Roman script. A very nice tight copy. Cloth faded (normal with this due), two stains to spine. Internally excellent. Welsh Calvinist Methodist College in Bala ex libris plate and inscription to endpapers. Khasi is an Austroasiatic language spoken primarily in Meghalaya state in India by the Khasi people. Khasi is part of the Khasi–Khmuic group of languages. There was a significant Welsh Calvinist Methodist missionary connection, c.f. Thomas Jones, amongst the Khasi people from the 1840s onwards.
