Author of "The Maxims of Methuselah", "Are You a Bromide" and after a trip to Paris, the article "The Wild Men of Paris" on the Cubists. At the time he was considered a humourist. The illustrator Louis D Fancher, as well as a book and magazine illustrator, was knownfor his WWI propaganda posters, and inter-war advertising graphics.
