Used; Very Good Chiswick Press was established in the printing shop of Charles Whittingham (1767-1840) in 1787. Although the press moved on a few occasions, it operated for the most part in London, England. Chiswick Press became influential in English printing and typography and, most notably, published some of the early designs of William Morris. The press continued to operate until 1962" (Special Collections, University of Missouri Libraries). Hugh Hopkins, Glasgow label inside "Hugh Hopkins, the doyen of the Glasgow booksellers, was so much a part of Glasgow's cultural fabric that, like John Honeyman, John Keppie and Mackintosh, he was included in the celebratory publication Who's Who in Glasgow in 1909".
