Description: . A folder comprising 51 mounted plates with original designs for wall paper or furniture fabrics executed in lavish gouache colours, all in typical Jugend style. The motifs are clearly inspired by natural forms and structures, particularly the curved lines of flowers and plants. The pattern sizes vary from 30-36 cm x 38-53 cm. Bound in original half cloth boards, spine with some damage, paper label titled "Meubles Referenzen. Saison 1903/1904" pasted on upper cover. We assume that this unique design catalogue was used by a furniture store or upholsterer who provided products made to order. The beautiful colourful patterns are preserved in an exceptional condition. An impressive and very rare survival of a customer book of this kind.
