Octavo format in full dark-red morocco with gilt titles/decorations, decorated endpapers, all edges gilt, ribbon marker. Pp. 1599, with glossary and index of characters. Printed contents are Nearly Fine. Neat owner's inscription dated Christmas 1916. The leather binding is compete but there is some modest wear to extremities and a couple of tears: 1" to the base of the spine, rear panel, and a 3" tear across the upper portion of the front panel. The contents are quite firm in the binding, The book is original with no replacements of eps etc. Good.
