First printing this limited edition of 350 copies. 53 pp. in grey cloth with blue titles, oversized (quarto) format, in a matching slipcase. This copy came from the group of 50 copies that were produced from the unbound and uncut sheets. In fact, this pre-publication copy was put together prior to the tipped-in photos being affixed to the sheets, though the slipcase does have the usual photo. This hors de commerce copy (with no serial number) and was presented by the poet to the publisher, Andy Wheatley. The inscription reads "For Andy with best wishes from Al Purdy". The book is Fine, however one of the slipcase joints has been repaired. A rare pre-publication copy. Good.
