First printing. 206 pp. many illustrations and photos (some colour, e.g. cut-away diagram of the Lee-Enfield rifle), about 5.5" x 8", in khaki-coloured wraps. This copy belonged to an active soldier with the 48th Highlanders and is signed with his Regt. No. barracks and city. Condition is surprising given the age. The binding is firm with covers firmly attached. There is no noticeable damage or marking to the printed text. The covers are not torn, just lightly edge-worn and a bit creased. Very Good.
