Title page states "from the twenty-third Edinburgh edition". 178 pp + (2) "Advertisement", index, pocket format (about 6" X 3.5") in pale blue paper-covered boards, dark-blue cloth spine. Binding and contents appear to be original with no sign of alteration or repair. Firm binding, clean contents. Paper-covered boards modestly worn and scuffed, backstrip intact. Really a very attractive copy overall. This edition, published by McPhail (not Brewer & McPhail) is rare, with no examples found on WorldCat. Very Good.
