Complete set of four volumes: pp. lx, 456, 428, 420, 440, bound in marbled boards with three-quarters calf, six gilt-stamped compartments on the spine with two black labels. each volume was originallly bound with two ribbon markers, mostly present. A superb set with very fresh contents, firmly bound with intact hinges and joints, no owner's names, some surface wear to the binding at extremities but no significant damage. No significant foxing to printed pages. Rarely found as a complete set in the first printing, especially in this condition. Very Good.
