She also provided welfare to remote gun stations in Orkney in WWII. Authors signature with presentation inscription on the title page. The book is clean and toght but has satamps of St Joseph's Convent, Trochrague, Girvan - referred to in the presentation inscription. In unclipped d/w but wiyh some old sellotape stains tp the flaps and the pastedowns as eeen.
