From Murray & Pullar's Bathymetrical Survey of the Freshwater Lochs of Scotland, this series of 8 plates depicts the depths of some 15 Lochs of the Connon Basin, draining into the Cromarty Firth near Dingwall in north east Scotland.The Lochs mapped are Lochs Crann, A'Chroisg and Gown; Lochs Achanalt & A'Chuilinn and Loch Beannachan; LochFannich; Loch Luichart; Lochs Garve, Achilty, Kinellan and Ussie; Loch Glass; Loch Morie; Loch Eye. Each map coloured with depths contoured and cross sections of many of the Lochs. Surrounding topography in brown with hill contours shown. These maps, together with accompanying text were issued in the Geographical Journal of 1905, prior to publication of the full series in 6 volumes in 1910. Text pages 42-69 with plates.
