Profusely illustrated with maps, diagrams and photographic plates. 2 folding maps in slip case at end of vol.2. Both volumes appear near fine externally in d/ws but there is evidence of some wrinkling at the lower part of many pages with some corresponding discolouration of the green cloth boards most obvious on the front of Volume I as seen in scans. Apart from this the volumes appear near fine, little used without any other marks or signatures. The d/w's are VG+ apart from d/w price clipped on volume 2 only and some flecking of top edge on volume 1 only. Very heavy - will require extra postage at cost. See scans and email for more. .
